Premier League - Papers: Tevez ‘begs’ for United return

The Sunday sports writers have had a week to dig on the Carlos Tevez saga, and there’s plenty of speculation as to his next destination.
None would be so sensational as a switch back to rivals Manchester United, but that’s exactly what the Mail on Sunday report that the Tevez camp begged United for this week.
Tevez, the paper continues, would not be welcomed back to Old Trafford by Sir Alex, even if the player were keen to make it happen.
Another possible destination for the Argentine is Chelsea, with the News of the World suggesting that Carlitos could partner Wolfsburg’s Edin Dzeko to give the Blues a new look up front.
That is, of course, unless the Citizens dig their heels in and force Tevez to stay – and if he retires, the Sunday Times say he will be sued by the club.
Whatever happens, it comes as no surprise to see City linked with strikers themselves, and the News of the World report that the club is sinking their efforts back into buying Fernando Torres.
Should the Liverpool striker arrive at Eastlands it would not only soften the blow of losing Tevez, but it would also throw a spanner into the works of Barcelona’s bold summer swoop for Torres and Cesc Fabregas for a combined £85m (Sunday Mirror).
The Sunday Mirror have outdone themselves today with a story of a possible Spurs arrival on a day of sensational transfer rumours.
Tottenham are going to make a move for Newcastle United’s Andy Carroll. With Harry Redknapp liking little more than signing a striker, it seems plausible enough.
The £20m price tag is a little steep, Paper Round thought to itself, but Carroll has only just put pen to paper on a five-year deal.
But on top of that, the Mirror report that Robbie Keane and Peter Crouch will be used as makeweights in the deal.
If the offer comes in, surely that might just tempt Mike Ashley to take a closer look at a deal for a player he insists isn’t for sale at any price?
After all, the terms sound almost as good as the ones which convinced then-Inter boss Jose Mourinho to sell Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona for £40m and Samuel Eto’o.

In other transfer titbits, the race to sign Spurs winger David Bentley is being contested by Birmingham and Liverpool (The People), while the same paper also suggest that Roy Hodgson is lining up a move for Chelsea’s Daniel Sturridge.
Charles N’Zogbia’s time at Wigan could come to an end this summer as he tries to reunite with former manager Steve Bruce at Sunderland in a £6m switch (News of the World).
And in the Sunday Mirror Wayne Rooney says that listening to the music of Susan Boyle calms him down before a match, though it seems more likely – to Paper Round at least – that we may finally know what has been affecting the Manchester United striker’s performances of late.

بات نادي مانشستر يونايتد الأسم الأكثر شهرة في كرة القدم الإنكليزية هو الهدف القادم للمستثمرين العرب على غرار غريمه في المدينة نادي مانشستر سيتي الذي يخضع لملكية مجموعة أبو ظبي المتحدة، بقيادة الملياردير الإماراتي الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان.

حيث ذكرت صحيفة " The Mirror " الإنكليزية إلى أن مجموعة قطر القابضة وهي الذراع الإستثمارية للعائلة المالكة في دولة قطر التي فازت مؤخرًا بشرف تنظيم كأس العالم عام 2022، تُخطط لتقديم 1.5 بليون جنيه إسترليني وذلك لشراء مانشستر يونايتد.
وتمتلك مجموعة قطر القابضة عدد من الأصول في المملكة المتحدة كحدائق هايد بارك الملكية، بالإضافة إلى متجر هارودز الفاخر في لندن والذي باعه رجل الأعمال المصري محمد الفايد "مالك نادي فولهام" للمجموعة هذا العام بنحو ملياري جنيه إسترليني.
كانت مؤسسة قطر وهي "الجناح الخيري في الأسرة الحاكمة" قد وقعت الأسبوع الماضي صفقة من أجل الحصول على حقوق رعاية قمصان نادي برشلونة الإسباني مقابل 33 مليون يورو سنويًا ولمدة خمسة سنوات.
وتُعتبر مجموعة قطر القابضة التي يرأسها الشيخ حمد بن جاسم بن جبر آل ثاني رئيس الوزاراء أكبر مُساهم في شركة فولكس فاغن لصناعة السيارات حيث اشترت حصة 17% ، كما أنها استحوذت على 10 بالمئة في شركة Porsche لصناعة السيارات الفاخرة مقابل 9.98 مليار دولار.
جدير بالذكر أن الملاك الحاليين لمانشستر يونايتد "عائلة أل غلايزر" الأميركية قد استولت على النادي عام 2005، وذلك بنحو 790 مليون جنيه إسترليني، إلا أنهم يواجهون معارضة قوية من جانب أنصار النادي بسبب كثرة الديون المتراكمة على الشياطين الحُمر.



كان موقع ويكيليكس الذي اهتم مؤخرًا بنشر وثائق مثيرة للجدل تتعلق بالسياسات الأميركية قد كشف في وقت سابق عن أن الحاكم العسكري في جزيرة بورما "ثان شوي" كان يستهدف شراء نادي مانشستر يونايتد بمبلغ 1 بليون دولار

كشفت مصادر موثوقة عن قيام مانشستر سيتي بعرض كارلوس تيفيز على نادي مانشستر يونايتد !

والعرض كان قد حصل الاسبوع الماضي من احد المقربين من المهاجم تيفيز الذي كان قد غادر الأولد ترافورد في أيار 2009 ، الا ان السير أليكس فيرغسون لم يكن ابدا مهتما باسترجاع تيفيز وقد أكد احد المقربين من السير فيرغسون عن استحالة عودة تيفيز الى مانشستر يونايتد حتى لو قرر السيتزينز عرضه للبيع.

أبدى السير أليكس فيرغسون مدرب مانشستر يونايتد رغبته بضم البرازيلي رونالدينيو صانع ألعاب الميلان الإيطالي, خاصة وان نادي اللاعب الحالي لمح بأنه لم يعد يرغب بالإبقاء عليه.
ووفقاً لما نشرت بعد المواقع الإنكليزية فإن السير طلب من إدارة النادي انتداب رونالدينيو في فترة الانتقالات الشتوية لزيادة العمق في الفريق, خاصة عند عودة منافسات دوري الأبطال مع الدوري المحلي والكأس.
