Well there have been talks that Sir Alex is gonna adopt a new way of playing, he's gonna pull Rooney back to where Scholes used to be, at the Center Attacking Mid role and put Hernandez and Berba up front since Rooney has retreated a little from the forward role and seems to enjoy passing and crossing the ball much often than pressing forward as he used to, bas then again..i'd prefer Rooney doing what he does best, brute force and power at the forward's role, shots, headers, hustling defenders, picking around them, that's the Rooney we know mech the one showing now, ka2an ma elo jlede yel3ab
anyways as I said b4 w i'll say it again, "form is temporary, class is permanent" w Rooney is all about class ba2a he'll be back eza mech this season basita the next byerja3

Scholes used to be a striker back in time.

Ryan Giggs Voted Manchester United's Greatest Ever Player By Supporters

Ryan Giggs has been voted Manchester United's best player ever, after topping a poll decided by United fans.

Giggs fought off strong competition for the award, beating former greats such as George Best and Sir Bobby Charlton, as well as current team-mates Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney.

Giggs is already the most decorated player in United's history and holds the record for the most appearances for the club. He took the award by a large margin, confirming the esteem in which he is held by United fans.

When told of the award, the Welsh winger was typically humble, telling the club's official website: "When I got told I was really chuffed.

"I couldn't believe it to be honest, especially when you look at the list of other players who are up there."

The poll was launched by the club's official website in conjunction with Inside United, the official Manchester United magazine. Supporters were asked to submit a first, second and third choice, and duly responded in their thousands.

And manager Sir Alex Ferguson – the only club manager Giggs has ever had – gave his approval to the result.

"Longevity always comes into play in these things, and Ryan's been around for more time than any other player," Ferguson told Inside United.

"When you look at the galaxy of stars that have been at this club, this is a huge honour for Ryan.

"There are some who would put others ahead of him - players such as Denis Law, George Best or Eric Cantona - but nobody can argue he doesn't deserve to be in that top bracket.

"His performances have been top class for 20 years. Even now, at 37, he's amazing.

"I get asked about Ryan all the time and I always find myself talking about the same attributes - the way he's looked after his physique, the way he constantly strives to better himself and the way he applies himself to make sure he succeeds.

"He's a fantastic role-model for young players. Ryan is a model of how to carry yourself, both as a footballer and a human being. He's shown by sacrifice what can be achieved."

Giggs, however, says his top three United players of all time would be Peter Schmeichel, Roy Keane and Paul Scholes, who came ninth, eighth, and sixth respectively, nominating his current team-mate as the best ever.

"I'd go for Scholesy as the club's greatest ever player," said Giggs.

"I've seen him do things that no other player can do. The way he can control the tempo of games, and his range of passing are both incredible.

"We've seen over the years that players just haven't been able to get near him. And you can't forget his goals either."

The top 10 Manchester United players of all time are as follows:

1. Ryan Giggs
2. Eric Cantona
3. George Best
4. Sir Bobby Charlton
5. Cristiano Ronaldo
6. Paul Scholes
7. David Beckham
8. Roy Keane
9. Peter Schmeichel
10. Wayne Rooney

Gary Neville has retired from Football with immediate effect at the age of 35. He had 602 appearances for the Red Devils. He also won 85 England caps.

Amazing player really, one of United's legends! Goodbye Gary
