Hariri (Sr.) governments gave ogero the right to control cables & bandwidth delivery, and that was given by law. So MoT can't really do anything about this, whether Sehnaoui or Chuck Norris was the minister.

So now, out of the blue Ogero got the needed tools to upgrade their plans.
The whole game is to make Sahnawi look weak and can't deliver his promises.
However, keeping Menhem Youssef where he is regardless what happens is nothing but a huge slap this government and mainly FPM can have.

But suddenly, Youssef idiot found out that ogero has the needed money, of course after he was forced to apply the law.

big leap today. my sodetel internet is now above 512(but not by much) my original package is 256. my upload is 112 or so... my ping google.com is 100 ms! (hoping it would remain that way forever) the router indicates the line downstream to be 1024 after it had been 512 for the past 3 years. I don't know what that means but it must indicate somethin

anyway this is good, in another week max I should have the 1 mbps

edit: if I max out my internet consumption the ping goes from 100 to 140 ms max!! this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!

^^ i was working on a Sodetel connection the other day at work (2mbps leased) and i was getting 70ms to google! something has been done truly.

Guys stop pinging Google, ping forum.vcoderz.com for instance.
Joe, your speed test screenshot shows 180ms which is really good for what we've known in Lebanon.

So now we can confirm that Sodetel started the upgrade.

pinging vcoderz.com is 186 ms as the speedtest shows...I've also been playing red alert 3 online and kicking butt

nicolas sahnaoui page on facebook is a good reference for updates because people keep postign there what is happening to them and what the support tells them when they cal

what I heard from there is that someone phoned sodetel support and was told that on monday we will receive messages asking us what package to choose, till then they will be finalizing the updates

I'm getting really excited about this.
I'm gonna most probably get a 4mbps to my company and 2mbps at home
