Right. A book written by a training specialist and a public speaker void of any scientific language and barely any references to research papers. That's what you're basing this on?

Not to be totally unfair it's a good read but it holds no scientific value. They don't mention the research papers, only the findings, and they're practically (to quote The Cheese) cherry picking the results that suit them best.

it still beats what was claimed so far by the opposite side. Psychological disorder actually. There are plenty of papers that bear witness to that. Papers that you've already read. ( Or did you just skim through them or thought that reading the abstract is sufficient?)

These are few things i wouldn't argue about with my children:

- Existence or non-existence of religious beliefs
- Sexual orientation
- Carrier

Whether my child turned to be straight or gay, i'll treat them the same way.
I won't think they are suffering of a mental disorder and should be hanged, burnt, stoned or thrown from the top of a mountain.

I'm glad i was raised in a family that respects and supports its members no matter what and i'm certainly going to treat my children the same =)
