Getting a new computer every 3-4 years is essential imo
.So i upgrade by adding ram. But i like getting a new desktop better, because i like trying new parts .I bought a new desktop with a Intel 965 mobo (like the one ulias described ), along with the E6600 core 2 duo intel CPU (2.4GHz 1066MHz-4MB), and 1x1GB 667MHz Kingston, no video card till now, gonna get it from outside the country . ( i got the rest of the parts ). Gonna add 1x1GB 667MHz later .And i gotta say the new CPU is a kick-ass . I gonna try overclocking some parts soon hehe.

the cost of a brand new computer is very cheap these days (800.00 AUD$ you buy a core 2 duo powered computer ).
So i'll definitely go with buying a new PC, which i need to do so myself, but don't have the time!!! If you're buying, go for something good once and for all... a powerfull computer would easily last 4 -5 years
