sarah, i see this like what follows... he had something so bad which lead him to do what he is doing now.. and obviously he didnt have that life before i guess...
and as i see.. ur a good friend of him, and uve tried all possibilities....y dont u try to wait the time when hez not drunk and pretend being like wanting 2 get the life he is having currently...he'll sure prevent u from it because he well knows it is real bad...and keep on talkin with him..until u know what lead him into that because he isnt happy with it...

You know i envy him for having a caring friend like you ... but try to fix the original problem ... don't talk about the drinking issue or drugs now ... the drinking is just a consequence of his problem ... once you fix that problem ... el drinking will be fixed by itself ...

I know that you already know that especially when you said that you are worried about his health in the meanwhile and you are afraid that he might hurt himself if it took time ...

here his family has to play the major role ... depending on how much they care and how much they can influence on him ... if not la7 ykoun 7emel kbir 3alayke and you'll need some help from specialists if necessary

well i tried ... he once smsed me w bahdalneh w nasharneh over smtg silly coz he was drunk ... and for a whole month ma t3atet ma3o ... he used to sms w ma red ... until he came la 3andeh 3al uni and said he;s sorry n all ... but i ct just fgt abt him .. coz the guy means the world to me ... he hurts me ktir bala ma y7es when he;s drunk .. but m ready to take that pain n help him ... coz i dt wana regret not helping him
