Lebanon Online a new ISP is offering 3-day free trial for dialup internet. They also have the acceleration software which is making the connection faster like dsl. Check out http://www.lebol.net/.

hello, man the acceleration software wis mostly a proxy that search thru a cache for a site.
our internet modems are 56K max and even then they open @ 44Kbps (depending on the phone line quality) so this equals a maximum download speed of 5.5K/s and upload is 2.75K/s, so the acceleration software if it works will let u reach this limit.
so what this acceleration does is minimize the time from ur point to the real site by getting the site from the ISP cach :/ really do not bother with it.
If u want some DSL killer stuff, check if fastnet is available in ur area as it is legit ISP and will be online when DSL introduced, Xcoder and I are using their services, and I think they are gr8, no web acceleration no nothi, download speed-. 100-300K/s, upload speeds 50-100K/s u cant get this anywhere in lebanon, DSL will be 64K/s download so still we beat it lol

fastnet is the best provider in lebanon.
which is providing about between 10-20 times more than other providers for the same price.

so it is basicly a compression decompression applied not even as i supposed, well, wont matter if u are downloading a file then, u lol get max 5.5K/s

It is not caching software..it is compression/decompression based software..it might not accelerate streaming and compresses files but it dramatically improve your web browsing experience....i could not believe it either until i tried the service...i ran some throughput tests and was able to achieve 100-150 kbps during the test..

Fastnet is not available in my area..i also got some page errors when browsing fastnet website using firefox.. and i dont think DSL is happenin anytime soon...i heard tests are still goin on in ogero..i think for the reasonable price i m being charged for the service and the performance i m getting this is the best option out there..

even if it's not perfect it doesn't mean they're not the best.
try to find an isp that provides 100 and 200kb/s down speed and 30-60kb/s up speed
