In 2007 - 2008 edition we eliminated real madrid in last 16.We reached the last 8. In 2006 - 2007 edition we eliminated lyon in last 16, when they were much better then now. We lost the serie a title just at the end last year to inter ( world cup champions).
We finished second in Serie A 3 times in the last 4 years.
In 2008 2009 edition we topped our CL group over chelsea, blowing them up 3 - 1 in olimpico. We were eliminated on penalties vs arsenal, despite having half our squad out injured and the other half playng injured.


We are not contenders to win the title, but we are top side.

All those teams are in last 16.And Roma can beat any of those on there day.None of those teams are superior to us.

exactly man. I miss Spalletti, he is a legend for Roma fans. Ranieri is not a likeable manager. Sometimes I watch Roma games, I start thinking of shutting down the tv rather then watching the embarassing boring football we play. Nowadays we only score by luck, or ref error, or individual brriliance. Ranieri has zero offensive system, he is a shit manager. I am awaiting the day he is gone. At least his contract expires at the end of the year.

If you think all those teams are better then Roma. I rest my case. Did you watch Roma winning world champions Inter 1 - 0 this year? Did you watch Roma winning Inter 2 - 1 last year? Did you watch Roma winning Milan 4 times out of there last 5 visits to the san siro in Serie A?

Tottenham, Valencia and Lyon are better than Roma, the rest aren't. As for Roma winning the Milans, I have to tell u that teams are considered "strong" by being consistent, mech teje terba7 one game or two w tsir te7ke fiyon, Wolves won Chelsea, doesn't mean they're stronger, big teams have deep squads that can stretch on all competitions and most importantly - consistency [that brings silverware]. Roma have lacked that over the years, bas as to Roma being in the last 16 aw even Quarter-Finals, i'd say Last 16 [this year] b zyede 3a ra2beton bas fi alot of teams ghayron that deserve to be in the Quarter-Finals w ma ra7 ykouno there cz they're playing each other.

Valencia are not better than Roma even now. Roma anyway were most of the time better than Tottenham and Lyon, but right now there is a case that those two teams are better but Lyon is a huge team anyway, very decent squad and Tottenham is battling with the giants this year. Bad form doesn't equal bad team. In the end they still made it to second round in CL and they still will very likely end in top 3 in the league.
