Where are Inter fans ? i see they disappeared from the whole forum

Now seriously, i didn't watch the game, but i saw some highlights. It was a well deserved result for Bayern, although Inter had multiple chances to score.

مع انتهاء مباراة الذهاب في دور الـ16 من دوري ابطال اوروبا والتي جمعت مارسيليا ومانشستر يونايتد، لم تنته ردود الفعل اذ تحدث كل من مدربي الفريقين عن الاجواء وتقييمهما للتعادل السلبي الذي خيم على المباراة.
اليكس فيرغسون (مدرب يونايتد علق على الخطأ الذي ارتكبه المدافع الفرنسي مبيابحق المهاجم واين روني قبل دقيقتين من نهاية المباراة، ورأى ان المدافع كان يستحق بطاقة حمراء، فيما لم ير الحكم اي خطأ تم ارتكابه. واضاف: لا اعرف لماذا لم يحتسب الحكم الخطأ ويعطنا ضربة حرة تليها بطاقة حمراء للاعب.
واعترف مدرب الشياطين الحمر بأن الاداء كان مخيباً ولو ان ارضية الملعب كانت ممتازة، وان مرسيليا كان يعمل على التأكد من تجنب تلقيه هدفاً على ارضه، وهو ما حصل. واكد فيرغسون ان مباراة الاياب ستكون مغايرة وسيكون فريقه افضل مما كان عليه في فرنسا ليفوز بالمباراة وينتقل الى الدور التالي.
ديدييه ديشان (مدرب مارسيليا اعرب عن سروره للنتيجة لانه من المهم في المباراة الاولى عدم تلقي المرمى اي هدف، وقد قمنا بهذه المهمة ولو ان المسألة كانت شاقة في وجه فريق كبير كمانشستر يونايتد. وعلى الرغم من ادائنا المميز في الشوط الثاني لفترة لا تقل عن 20 دقيقة، الا اننا لم نتمكن من تسجيل هدف، ولكن اللاعبين قاموا بجهد مميز ويجب في مباراة الاياب ابقاء شباكنا نظيفة وتسجيل هدف اذا سنحت لنا الفرصة.
وقال: النتيجة الحالية ليست سيئة بالنسبة الينا ولكن يمكن اعتبارها جيدة بالنسبة الى مانشستر.

Bayern's backline had their best game this season, Lahm and Breno were solid, Kraft was amazing, Schweinsteiger and Gustavo had a great control in the midfield, cutting balls and keeping possession, Robben great as usual, Gomez was impressive and Ribery was not at his best...

and I'm happy

Bayern were actually shit at the back. Etoo made them look like amateurs and they are. Remember they only had one striker to deal with. However, even though it was mainly an even game, Bayern were the better side and threatened more continuously although they were playing away. Gustavo had a terrific match so as Shweinsteiger. Those two were battling with 5 central midfielders deployed by Leonardo and kept the possession in Bayern's favor, so that's a blatant testament to the work they did. The return leg could be embarrassing for Inter ...hopefully especially if Ranocchia doesn't play due to his injury and they use Chivu there who is one of the most overrated defenders in football today.

Kraft is some player though, he weekly demonstrates why Bayern fans wanted him instead of buying Neuer. The only redeeming aspect of Bayern's back line. Though I don't understand why they get stingy when it comes to buying defenders.
